    Not a big deal The main concern of mixing would be mixing of the two types on the same axle. With the soft sidewall of slicks its going to feel different anyway, and its not like your gonna go slicing through a road course anyway.

    Raybestos Raybestos is a quality brand, I would have no problem using there stuff. Moog is god stuff and is AC/Delco. My guess is the Raybestos stuff is on clearance, where did you catch them that cheap?

    Next issue: Axle shaft removal

    axle removal Pull the drum off and reinstall it backwards (inside out) thread the lugnuts on 1/2 way or so. Push the drum flush with the axle then jerk it back. This works for me 99% of the time. It has the slide hammer effect.

    Neil, if you have the Pinto trans and it is out of the car.........1 place gearshift lever in neutral 2 compress the corrugated rubber spring then remove the retaining snap ring and slide the spring upward on the lever. 3 bend the shift lever lock tabs up then carefully thread the plastic dome...

    Ministock racers use escort rotors and gm metric calipers. They are not concerned with parking brakes so its a pretty simple job.

    75 mach 1

    Its a probably a 75 with that late of a build date. If it was a v-6 car then it may be a factory 4-speed. If its a factory v-8 then it was a factory auto car.

    yes Yes they did make manual brake cars. Have a 75 Mach1 with them. A 74 2.3 car also.

    Bellhousing, RAD 4-speed to 305 Help.

    Do you have a v-8 rad transmission? I'm guessing since you said its out of a 75 that it is not. In any case the v-8 and 4/6 transmissions used a different input shaft and different gear ratios. The ratios would not stop you from using but the input shaft will.
