    How old is the water pump? Electric fan or manual? Pull the T-stat, test it... put it in a pot of hot water on the stove, check the temp at which it opens (should be 180)...

    Mostly no... partly yes. IIRC, 87 would have tilt-wheel no airbag. The 87 front fender opening is a smidge smaller near the fender spat. 87 would be Speed Density (92 Mass-Air)... it might also have larger headrests, but don't quote me on that.

    I do not have one personally... But I do know a SCCA Member in Albq, has one for his Miata and loves it. There have been several members who bring a car and borrow it for a couple days.
