    Bye bye powerstroke, hello Fobra!

My dads Superformance. 427 FE with a TKO These are endorsed by Shelby now. Dennis Olthoff is a great guy. His dad raced the originals back in the 60's. He passed away about 2 or 3 years ago.

    Wheels for slick only

You can pick up a set of welds with slicks or DR's for 175-250 in my experience. Those steel wheels are more for circle track/stock car/dirt apps.

    Wheels for slick only

Get a used set of welds for not much more.

Whats up with Fox Body Chevy's?

Carlisle 2 years ago. Guy had a 390 FE stuffed in one. True most use checy crate motors and turbo 350's.

    Spec Stage 3+ and Turbo

Guess mine will die next............. Unless I put something in new with the 364. I think I twisted my TKO output shaft. Was a bitch to get my DS yoke out of the trans rear.

Man I just got SMOKEby an '98 Camaro LS1

I picked the black 99 Z up for $6,000 with 72k on the od a few mos ago. The argument about cost is fast disappearing. A clean 5.0 still brings 3500-5000....especially a notch. Then do some work to it and your over the cost of a stock LS1. Throw a $750.00 quality nitrous kit on an LS1 and then...

Man I just got SMOKEby an '98 Camaro LS1

Stock......down to the tires with stock air filter and 700 miles on the od. I ran a 13.2 @ 106 with my 99 Z28 (orange) Same track similar conditions my 95 GT ran 13.1 @ 105 with full H/C/I The LS style motors pull HARD up top. They revised the cams in 00 or 01 to give them a little more tq...

1st Dyno run on my KB Cobra

Ahhh yes.... If you are stock H/C/I those are very good #'s BE HAPPY :D I made only 385/415 on my H/C/I KB 2.2 @ 8# But it was very driveable. IMHO opinion the 2.2 is a bit oversized for the stock 302. Lots of bypassing and they build heat much faster if not moving alot of air.

    Holley Systemax II ?

Look at it like this............. Heads are good...........but do you have an intake to support them or an exhaust? Heads are kind of a package deal....you need exhaust and intake at least with them to match the flow of your pretty new heads. This is a good time to put a cam in also. I...

Need your opinion on this motor??

350 Wheel not likely on any rendition of a GT40 head without serious port work...then you might as well have gone AFR/edelbrock/Canfield etc. 300 at the wheels is very achieveable with a stock short block and good H/C/I. Thats about 345-350 crank and good for high 12's. Take a look at the...

    Holley Systemax II ?

I would only go to a carb if I was making it a track car. FI gives good streetability and unless you are familiar with carbs, as most people are NOT these days you will get overall better performance with the FI. Take a look under proven combos. There is alot of good info there. Windsor...

    Holley Systemax II ?

Heads/Cam/Headers.....thats what that intake needs. A waste on a stock motor. trav_19.... I have seen some of your posts....Your excited to mod the stang....There is a right and wrong way to do it. All mods are built with a plan and must work with the other parts you have. Otherwise you...

    94 cobra major problems

Pull the chip. My guess is that the tune is off once it warms up and comes up to temp. Was it a mail order chip? Could be pulling timing fuel etc. You should do a dyno tune. IMHO thats the only way to get a good tune. Any tuner that uses SCT should be able to reburn your chip.
