How Long Can Injectors Sit

I'm considering picking up a set of 30# injectors soon but there's I chance I might not use them till next winter. Will there be any problem just storing them on a shelf in my garage? Is there anything I can do to preserve them over a 1+ year storage?

they should be fine, my only concern would be the temps over the winter degrading the o-rings. maybe put them in a closet

I have stored used ones for years and no issues...I just clean em up and shoot some WD40 inside the screen up top and wipe down the o rings with WD also...then wrap in a rag and place it a Zip-Loc bag..
If new, maybe wipe some Vasoline on the orings then bag em...a shot of WD or the like would keep any moisture from rusting the screens would be good to me..your call I guess..

injectors typically age very well, certainly sitting over a season won't do much. Try to keep them out of going through multiple freeze/thaw cycles however...this can be hard on parts of any kind

the first ones are matched. my understanding of that is that all the injectors are flowed to match within a certain percentage of one another. IIRC it doesn't mean a hill of beans for a street car. More geared toward bracket racing type cars.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not so much interested in getting "better" injectors, I just want to make sure they'll work with my 95. I have an opportunity to get a new set for $200 shipped, so unless someone can give me a good reason not to get them, I'll be picking them up.

they'll work fine. they are the same injectors but they cost more cause of the additional labor involved to flow match them.
