How do you protect your A/V unit?

This is probably a dumb question. But I was recently thinking about buying a DVD screen car deck things and I was wondering how people protect them. I know you can just pop off the faceplate off a regular cd deck, but what does one do to protect the expensive a/v unit?

Putting the stang away for winter.

It'd be wise to store the vehicle in the garage, and at least ONCE a week, start the car, leave it running for 5 minutes, rev the engine for 30 seconds to about 2000 rpm [this will help circulate the oil better], then bring the rpms back down leave it running for another 5 minutes then shut'er...

Yes, I'm talking to you. Do you even own a car? I don't think you do. IF you owned a 5.0L, you'd realize how much of a pain it is to drive one with steep gears. You'd have to shift almost as soon as you start moving, not to mention unless you have a rebuilt engine or know how to take care of...

There are really no GOOD cars left today...

And to continue bitching my disappointment... At least for the next 5 years, the Mustang is going to own the **** out of anything GM or Chrysler, Dodge and whatever other guys can come up with.. You have your uber cars, Corvette, Viper, Ford GT which I consider out of the range of most...

There are really no GOOD cars left today...

I'm looking around Ford, GM (Pontiac, Chevy, etc.), and Chrysler (Dodge, etc) and what I see is extremely disappointing.... On Ford's site, the RWD v8 that's even worth mentioning are well.. you guessed it.. Mustangs... On GM's, they REALY have almost NO good cars, the GTO reminds me of a...

All I can say is you need a nice honda civic with a big VTEC sticker on the side to remind everyone how much of a lamer you are. REALLY .. it would be nice.. Then you can spend all day revving your engine to 9000 rpm in your civic in your moms driveway yelling out WHOOOOOOO picturing yourself...

    331 or 347

Go big or go home.. although there really isn't much difference between either. I'd go with a brand new short block and some forged goodies though if you plan on racing that motor hard. Or if you have money just buy a nice long block and just bolt on to that. OT: What's the displacement...

    Long block question

I'm thinking about just buying a long block stroked motor from DSS Racing, as I don't think I have the time, effort or complete technical know how to get one done. Does anybody know what else I would need to add to this to make it a complete running motor...

It's really quite simple. If you wait 1500-3000 miles to change your oil, it WILL get dirty. Don't BS about it being nice and clean. How do I know? I change oil everyday, I work at a Mechanics shop and there are some people with nice rides who baby the **** outt of their cars and they still...

    Stroker kit?

All right, so let me explain this in things I can understand. Billy walks into a ford dealership and purchases a brand spankin new '04 cobra or GT. Billy wants to stroke his motor, so by buying a Stroker KIT from DSS or what not.. he can increase the amount of displacement he has. What's...

    Should I buy a '68 Fastback?

I saw a '68 Fastback for sale in my local newspaper. I haven't seen the car yet, but it kinda intrigued me about having a muscle type car. I'm thinking about taking a look at it, but I have a few concerns. 1. I did a little research, and the engines of '68 that are bigger than the 302 its got...
