    02 GT Gear Install

That's how I'm feeling abou the whole thing. He says he hates dealing with the diff.. If that's the case, I don't want him touching ANYTHING on my car. Yes, ty, I have read both of those articles, but I'm not the one installing, he is. He just does'nt want to rebuild the diff., which I think...

    02 GT Gear Install

As I stated in my $4,000 question post, I have decided it is not a very smart idea to spend all my savings on a Mongoose kit from Tim at MPH. So instead I am spending around $1500 on gears, exhaust and SCT tuner. I am also returning the 3:73's for 4:10's. Heres my problem.....I went to ask the...

My final review of my 4.10's!

Who cares. Its informative and I wanted to thank the originator for the review. Isnt that what forums are about? I'm not getting the Mongoose kit now. Although I do agree with you 100% on the Mongoose + 3:73's. Also, I do not run on a track nor do I drag or do I ever plan on doing either, but...

    The $4,000 Question

Well, let me start off by saying TY to everyone who replied to this thread, I appreciate. Unfortunately I have come to the conclusion that it would be financially irresponsible of me to drop my whole $4k on a supercharger. My girlfriend also stands behind this statement....LOL:owned: Soooo, I...

My final review of my 4.10's!

Thanks Menasci!! ....on my way to mustangsunlimited to return my 3:73's and purchase 4:10's instead.....Im convinced!! I was going to get the Mongoose Vortech kit over at MPH next month, but I would be depleting my whole savings account and something tells me thats not to smart, lol. So it's...

    The $4,000 Question

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted a reply. Like I said, I'm going with the Vortech Mongoose kit, probably the S-Trim cuz I want the noise:D . I will be purchasing the first week of April and I assume a couple of weeks for everything to get here. Hopefully be installed by the...

    The $4,000 Question

I have come to the conclusion that I am going ot purchase the Vortech Mongoose kit from Tim at MPH, either used or new. I like the idea of being able to make one purchase for everything (except guage pod/guages) AND attach everything myself. I absolutely LOVE the idea of MPH's forums and the...

    The $4,000 Question

Hmm....Then I need it tuned correct? What is a estimated guess on the price of a tune? I'm in western MA and to be honest there isn't much out here for tuning or dynoing which is why MPH's Mongoose kit appeals to me so much. Everyone who I have spoke with swears by the Mongoose tune. I would...

    The $4,000 Question

Glad you chimed in Gearbanger. I have read many of your replies and respect your opinion. I assumed that with 3:73's the blower would spin up quicker which would compensate for the centrifugal setup. Therefore they would be a future upgrade after the Vortech. I have a 5 speed with stock tranny.

    The $4,000 Question

.....and thats what I want. That felling, that pull, that whistle :D . I keep checking on a daily basis in the MPH forums for used Mongoose kits. Does Tim also sell used kits out of the shop relative to his customers selling them themselves? I plan on 3:73's in the future.

    The $4,000 Question

Yeah, I agree with ya on the KB, but.....1)More money 2)Horrible cust. service from what I have read. 3)Don't like the idea of seperate oil in the KB. Mainly the money issue though. I would love to purchase the KB Mongoose from Tim, but that's not going to happen Financialy

    The $4,000 Question

Ok, I currently have $3K saved up from some extra dissability money since I started working again last year after a kidney transplant. Next month I will have a total of $4K due to an extra pay check this month:D . I have been dreaming of a supercharger since I popped out of the womb. The one I...

    Mufflers or Cat-back

Hello all.... Im actually in the process of purchasing a catback system. I currently have the BBK O/R X-Pipe. With the stock mufflers it sounds horrible between 2000 - 25000 RPM's, kind of like its shooting BB's, lol. Anywho, I had same mid pipe along with Flowmaster catback on my 94 GT, so...
