    It's been a while

Welp, it's been a while. I've been working a lot this last month, and this last week, I've pulled the motor and the tranny. And yesterday, on my day off, I managed to have my old motor fall over... yes, fall over on the engine stand. It scrapped my long tube headers, split my fuel pump in 3...

Radiator blew. Where to get a new one?

Even with my discount at O'Reilly, a 3-row is $235 bucks. But there's a local shop that sells the same brand, just cheaper, I can get for $205. It's a 3 row. I guess these radiators for the 69 are pretty expensive. For the 3 row anyway. I can get the 2 row for like $150. -Shaun

Welp, last night, I had just turned my car off and not 45 seconds later, I heard a big BOOOOSH! My radiator blew and all the stuff came out. I was curious to find out where some good deals on radiators are online, or if I was better off going to a shop. Any aftermarket radiator suggestions...

How many of you use your Stang as a daily driver?

I split up my driving between the stang and my jeep. I always drove the jeep to school because it didn't need to warm up, and it doesn't smell like gas. The mustang is just kind of an optional driver because I'm working on it, slowly. Saving money to keep the project goin. -Shaun

    Converting to power steering questions

Well, I work at O'Reilly, so I can get a good price on the pump and hoses and such. So I can probably get the new center link, hydraulic control valve, P/S cylinder, idler arm, hoses, pump all there. As for the brackets and hardware, I guess I'd have to call Mustangs plus or what not. Has...

Hey, thanks for all the info guys! I have the straight bar 28 spline axles. I do believe they are original, but seem to be in perfect condition too. I know I don't have enough power now, but the plan for next year should produce around 350-390 horsepower. Thats why I was curious. One more...

stupid question abotu 28 spline axles

Okay, I'm wondering how strong these stock 28 spline axles are. How much power can they handle? Is it possible to break the axles alone? Or if they break, will it mess up everything (differential and such)? Thanks! -Shaun

    new rear end doesn't fit!

Turns out I had an 8 inch. BUT! he had all the parts needed to swap the entire housing (for an extra $150). Everything is brand new (4.11s, trac-lok, housing from a 69 cougar) except my axles. What I need to know is where to get a yoke. I need a 9 inch yoke that has a width of 3 3/16"...

I don't look around to see if people are looking at my car. To me, it's jsut a car. But it's mine. My car is no better than any other cars, but other people just like to look at them more. And as for waving again.... I wave jsut because I feel like a jerk when I don't. Like if you see...

Why fellow fastback People so frumpy?

Here in K.C., there are a handful of classic cars. There's nothing like watching everyone turning their head slightly as to act like they aren't looking at your car. But I always wave though. I don't just wave back, I initiate it. Even if the car isn't perfect (like mine, by far) people...
