    Those Kumhos look sticky but no I haven't tried'em before. Try the Nitto NT-05s. My buddy has a termi with the same specs and he says it's the stickiest street tire he's ever tried. (he's gone through 3 sets of other brands before that)

    Well the car in question has the PI h/c/i so from a performance standpoint it should be on par with a new edge. And with that nitrous you should be keeping up with LS1 f-bodies. So if you prefer the looks of the new edge you can search for one but either way, I'd try to keep the fox.

    The hanging RPM in between shifts is normal on the 4.6L. It's not a sign of a mechanical problem, so you need not worry.     So I've made a total of 19 passes down the strip and I still can't get my 60' down from the 2.3x range. For the last 9 runs I had the rear tires pressures down to 25psi and even then I found myself breaking traction at any launch rpm above 2700. I was slipping the clutch as much as I can...

    The 'mustang' pattern on the seats and the seat decliner location tells me that it's a s197 seat. I don't know the part number for the headrests though. Check ebay/craigslist for any listings on headrests maybe?

    How bad is it to hit the rev. limiter?

    I'm just going by what I hear and see but drag racers with 2-step/3-step rev limiters bounce on their limiters for ~5 seconds before launching. So it can't be that bad? It also depends on how the limiter is limiting the engine. Fuel cut = bad, spark cut = not bad.

    These are the wheels I'm trying to hunt down. I'm not looking for the real things of course, because I want to save money by going with knock offs. I've already looked on ebay, checked the usual Mustang part vendors and did a google search. If anyone knows where to look, let me know.
