    Intake Advice

    Don't worry about the 75mm opening because your TB is whats going to flow not the opening. It should hurt your performance but you won't see as much of a gain as it's potential because of the stock heads but once you change heads and cam so you can get some airflow then she'll wake up

    That motor could be run either way but you would have to change fuel setup because alch. takes like twice as as much fuel to run it. alch. runs cooler but needs twice as much to use it but there not a way (that I know of) you can run both setups without changing a good bit of your setup

    stock valve covers

    most all metals can be polished (with enough work)but when polishing then you have to keep it that way. Don't just clear them to keep polished metal looking good because regular rattle can clear turns yellow under heat but some companys do make a clear that will hold up

    you follow the firing order so you can adjust the vavles in order and get the lifter on the base of the cam(following firing order just makes it faster to do)if you don't follow firing order you just have to do a little more work by turning motor over more

    Quick! Timing HELP!!

    I ran one of my cars with stock ported heads and average springs and car loved 18 degrees so bump it up alittle drive and find out where it pings at then start backing down ran mine at 18 and 16 on the juice with 100 shot can ran great 11.70's

    you did gain power becasue now your at same power with less boost if you up boost back to orginal boost then you'll see what you gained

    Ford factory heads have a Aluminum 4 thread insert in them. Patriots have a 4 thread Steel insert in them and they have a upgrade 8 thread steel insert too

    1.6 vs 1.7 rockers

    If you take your total valve lift and divide it buy 1.6 then take your total and multiply it buy 1.7 and get your new lift with 1.7's Example .498/1.6=311.25 then 311.25 x 1.7=529.125

    make sure you pinion nut is tight also. I have seen where pinion races wear out also to cause a clunking sound
