Has anyone heard of Smending Performance? In the new Mustang Monthly they have in the "new bits" section a 405 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque GT347 Extreme stroker listed at $5,495, which includes a brand new sportsman block, RPM Air Gap intake etc...... Just wondering if anyone has used them...

    Useable Street RWHP

Great info and opinions guys keep em comin'......so and far as fwhp goes somewhere around the 400 or 425 range with a manual trans should hopefully get you around the desirable 300 rwhp.

    Useable Street RWHP

The suspension is not stock and is upgraded but by no means is high end aftermarket, the car does have sub frame connectors and traction bars, so I would say it is set up as any typical weekend or cruise type car. As far as the tires go I currently have 235's on 15x7 Mag 500's, but according...

    Useable Street RWHP

There has been alot of talk lately about achieving high HP #'s(400&500rwhp), my question to all the people who have higher HP engines: is where do you think the threshold is for a great street engine? Is it 300rwhp, is it 350,400 - and I am talking 90% street use, I am curious to hear some...

    American Thunder

You know what your right, I must have missed that when looking at the website.....so I would assume that the system would not work with a Mustang, right?

Hey Reen, Quick question in regards to the Elite seats - does that $695 come with your version of the seat rails with the welded studs, similar to the original?

    ProCar LowBack seats

Has anybody seen these in a mustang before. I have a 67' fastback and I actually like my lowback seats, and these are the only upgraded types seats I have seen in a lowback.

    Hypothetical?

Yeah it is a small block 302, and I am running 3.89 gears. Don't get me wrong it does very well for a street car and I know there is always a trade off on versus the other, but I guess you sometimes get bored and want to go faster. I do appreciate all the info very helpfull. Maybe it is time...

    Hypothetical?

Well the cam would be for the engine and mods in my signature, and everyone actually gave me suggestions on a cam in a different thread. I was just trying to gain some knowledge on how a cam choice will affect your performance. But any further cam choices would be appreciated since I am not...

    Hypothetical?

So if you where building a motor primarily for the street and wanted very useable torque as fast a possible you would want a cam with less duration too shift the power band lower in the rpm range.

    Hypothetical?

I am still fairly new to making the right choices in regards to mods so here is a hypothetical question to all the seasoned vets out there. If you have a cam that may be to big for your setup - for example - 280/290 duration and 472/496 lift and then you swap that out for a cam with less...
