    Looks like the work was required due to some serious malfuction, either from abuse or bad luck, considering what they replaced. They probably didn't replace the TOB because it wasn't covered under warranty. At least that is a possibility.

    I just wanted the luxury of being able to slip the cats back on if the sniffer cops start testing in my area, or if for some reason I needed to quiet the car back down for some unknown reason. I don't think I would want to change it to an off-road X permanately after spending almost $400 on it...

    I was wondering if any of you guys had modified the catted X-pipe by cutting out the cats, and fabricating a flanged straight pipe that would allow you to interchange the pipes and cats when you needed to? I have thought it thru and thought it would be pretty easy. Anything I am not seeing here?

    If you have to drive it every day for transportation needs, you are stuck with the possibility of getting a few chips. There are no bullit proof finishes out there. Delorean tried, but the car was a pig due to weight. For the time that you need to let the paint cure, you just need to be watching...

    HUH? You've got to be kidding, right? :lol: I agree with the supercharger suggestion. You might want to continue your research before making a decision. It would be great if you could ride in a couple of cars in your area first to get a better idea.

    WHAT WILL A KB GT WITH FOLLOWING MODS RUN?

    I could be wrong, but from what I have read one of the key mods you mention is the torque converter. It seems these make a big differance on the 60' time and getting the power to the ground. Throw in some good cams, and I know I would be dissapointed not getting VERY close to the 11's.

    You get quite abit more than a pulley for the money fellas. I am pretty sure the 9psi kit includes the pulley, a custom burnt Superchip, and an 80mm MAF(not C&L, the brand slips me).     Another thing to check on is if the oil change machine will also exchange the fluid in the torque converter. As far as GM's are concerned, some do not exchange all of the fluid-and after what 97rmcobra said, I don't think that is an option anyway....why take the chance.

    Not familiar with the Spintech set up, although they look nice. My SVO side exhaust came with Borla mufflers. I would think they would be available directly from Borla, and you couldn't do any better on quality.

    I am running a 9lb Eaton blower so you will be pumping even more HP and Torque. My 3.73's are PLENTY.
