    They come up on ebay every now and then. I got mine from Ebay. There's 3 or 4 sections to it if I remember right. main section, injector harness, )2 harness and I think an a/c harness. In my opinion one from painless is more of a universal type. I don't think they are set up for emissions...

    2nd with jricker above. I had a similar problem a while back. I did a parasitic draw test and found that my EEC relay was stuck closed. Drew it down dead in 3 days.

    I'm 47. I got my 1st mustang a 68 vert when I was 12. (1972) I had a 01 that I gave to my son. (He wrecked it 6 months later) Currently the 79 has been my wifes since 04/79. It started life as a v6 but now has a 50 EFI and running gear from a since deceased 90 vert.

    Help me fix my HVAC

    IIRC the vacuum line routing is pretty close. They usually default to defrost when they loose vacuum. I'd check a lone vac hose going under or very near the heater core coolant hoses and see if its hooked up of leaking.

    door/ignition/tunk= locks

    Call a couple of locksmiths and get some prices. I recently replaced the door locks on my 79 and was charged 2o.oo per cylinder.

    Try comparing the 2 harness's and see what the differences are. You only need a few wires to get it running and some very good grounds. I believe its a constant 12 v source, a ign / cranking source and a connection to the sol. "blue wire?" and the grounds. Look at the diagrams and you can see...

    coolant problems bypassing cap HELP

    I'd try "burping" again. It sometimes helps to jack up the driver side front to get the radiator filler higher than the rest of the cooling system.

    I agree with Darkwriter77, theres not much pressure unless its realy hot, plus he has a leak so it's most likely not building any pressure to start with.

    +1 on Hissin50 They can be trimmed down quite a bit and mounting tabs riveted top and bottom to install. You may also need to move your radiator closer to the support for clearance. A 3g and a DCController are necessary in my opinion. Thats how mine was done and it works flawlessly.

    I like mine also. Like 795.0pasecar said. the light sockets are in a different location. IIRC the mounting bolts are in the same locations.

    If I remember correctly you really only need a couple of wires in the harness to fire an efi. you need power to the ecc relay, start and run wires, good grounds for various places, wiring of the fuel pump, a blue wire to the solenoid ect.     I installed them on mine when i did the Gt conversion. Mine was a 2.8l. I swapped "everything" underneath from a 90gt.
