    Pretty heavy vibration at idle?

Look under your car where the motor mounts to the bellhousing. You'll see to cylinder shape indentations on the bottom of the block towards the tranny. Look for cracks there, around the starter, and on the bellhousing. This would be worse case scenario. Exhaust and the driveshaft are...

Drag racers check in:Rims for DR's?

I have the stock calipers on the front and rears. The pic is right up there. They are a custom Bogart wheel. 15" They do fit. They dropped almost 60lbs off the car, 38 of that up front.

Drag racers check in:Rims for DR's?

bogart pics I started out with a set of 17x9 anthracite bullit wheels from MRT direct for something like $119 or $129. The first set of tires were some ET street biased, then moved to ET Street radials 275x40-17. It was some time ago. I now have 15" Bogarts. The 15" wheels just opens up the...

    check engine lights

What mods do you have and what have you done to it lately? Anything unusual happen lately besides the CEL. Any service work? Check to make sure the A/C is not draining directly onto the 02 harness which is zip tied to the side of your tranny. Your best bet is to take it to the dealership and...

When I do mine, I will definately be using the largest battery cables available that will be running to the back. I don't want any electrical flow issues.

    Trunk Mounted Battery, Anyone?

I already have too much crap to do to go to the track. I don't want to have to remove the tag as well. The switch has to be completely visible. I'm contemplating a push/pull pin or switch located by the plate. Then I could remove the pin for daily driving. I just don't want my wife to call...

    single piece carbon fiber driveshaft

It's for the 05. When I broke the stock one, I had a few issues going on. With the way the car came out of the groove, I most likely lost 2/10's. On top of that, I had a check engine light. It was a lean code, so the car was super rich. I've since corrected that issue. I stayed in the run...

    Trunk Mounted Battery, Anyone?

My hesitation in doing this is installing a shut off switch discreetly on the rear of the car. The rearend is so opened up, it's just difficult to somewhat hide it. I'm thinking about putting it by the bumper.

    single piece carbon fiber driveshaft

Recently, I sortof damaged the stock 2 piece driveshaft. It was pretty much my fault. I didn't have the rear swaybar on and was launching at 6000 rpm's on 28" ET Drag slicks. The front left tire came up about 14" and the right about 6". A lot of twist in the body and (being in the right lane)...

The Post Your Drag Strip Results Thread!

Hey Dan...50psi is the max not recommended... :D Just messin with you. As for myself, I've always had 36psi. When I would race I left it at 36psi as well, but air the front's up to 50psi. I tried different psi's at the track and would only loose trap speed if lower than 36. To...

    I gotta' throttle body!

Can you post a dyno sheet. It's just that you've mentioned on another forum that it gives you 8.5hp and here you mentioned 10hp. Not attacking you, it's just that proof is in the pudding. :nice:

line lock for the 05+ cars

My initial guess is that it's due to ABS. Paul's HP could answer that a bit more accurately though.
