    T-45 Problem, Need Help!

Definetly would appreciate the PDF's! As for the TKO, the funds don't support that, but it would be nice.

    T-45 Problem, Need Help!

Def. would appreciate the PDF's!! A TKO would be sweet, but the funds just aren't there my friend. I'm thinking about having my current transmission cryogenically frozen though. I know that would help drastically with the strength of the tranny.

    T-45 Problem, Need Help!

I was recently drag racing at the local dragstrip, and on my last run when I shifted from first to second (not powershifting), I lost second. I finished the run in 3rd, and came back in the turn around lane in third as well. When I stopped for the timeslip, I put it into first, where it is...

    Bassani vs. Borla vs. Magnaflow

I have the Borla Catback with a Magnaflow O/R X-pipe, and I personally think that it is the best sounding out of all 3. The catback's quality is unprecidented, and is somewhat quiet at idle, but when you stomp on it, :D it really comes to life. The tone is much deeper than that of Bassani...

    Alright Stangnet.. Help Me Out!

Christmas Tree When you stage, try to stage back as far as you can when you trip the lower light. This will give you a slight time advantage to launch sooner, because you will not trip the sensor until your tire clears. The farther up you stage, such as deep staging, will give you a better...

    Thanks bud.

what all do i need going from efi to carb?

I know what you mean about waiting for the secondary's to open, but dude trust me when I say that overcarbing will be way worse. It will be a bear to tune and it's really would be worth the extra cash to go with a smaller carb at first, then when you build your motor to get a larger one. You...

    FI to Carb. HELP!!

I got a chance to pick up a 89 FI motor for real cheap but it comes with no harness, and it just so happens that the harness in my 93 notch is pretty hacked up. It would be way easier to just get a carbed motor than to swap everything over, not to mention the killer deal i'm getting on the FI...

    I Think I Am A Genious!?

P.S. True Ram Air doesn't occur until 400+ MPH. That's when it would actually create boost, however you will get the benefits of the colder air. Not to burst your bubble. At Home Depot you can make some pretty crazy stuff, keep an open mind to creative ideas. Good luck bro!

    I Think I Am A Genious!?

Go to Home Depot and get some PVC piping. It's by far and wide the best as far as dissipating heat. Aluminum's got nothin on PVC. It barely absorbs any at all, plus they will have all kinds of bends you will need for it too. Some dryer ducting could work too, but just try to use that for the...

    What else

With all that go you will need a brake upgrade as well. Some stainless steel braided lines and a big brake kit should be sufficient for the street.

    Any likely damage?

Hold on a second there good buddy...The plugs for one bank are different than the other because they are indexed. Plus, the ignition systems on just about all mustangs suck. You may want to consider upgrading by getting some MSD coilpacks or at least a 6 box. :nono: Don't go getting rid of...

Wow..."noise" doesn't begin to describe this.

I once saw a bad pilot bearing along with a improperly balanced flywheel cause a condition like this. Did you have a new pilot bearing installed when you did the clutch? Also have you check out your rear at all? I know this might sound kind of out there but maybe a bent axle or a hub too out...

    Hot Start Problems/Need Help

Another thing that can cause wires to get hot is resistance. If a ground connection is dirty or corroded, or in some cases loose, it will get hot because of the increased resistance. Also, if your resistance checks out fine and you still have full voltage potential, you should verify the...

    Stuck...

Good job on fixing your car but I gotta put this 2 cents in real quick. A great way to finding a vacuum leak, as opposed to the carb cleaner trick, which also works very well, is some soapy water. Just spray the suspect area and where you see bubbles is where the leak is.

    time seems slow

I think the track temperature was a huge factor in your times. 45 degrees is pretty freakin cold. I'd just try waiting for a warmer day and see how you do. You might even want to play around with tire pressure a little, but be careful with street tires. It's also not a real good idea to get...

    Module and harness suggestions???

I just bought a project 93 notch and I have quite a few questions on what I should do about the electrical end of the deal. I bought the car with no computer, and the harness is useless because the guy hacked the snot out of it...My guess is he wanted to go carbureted... Anyways, what are some...

    Low Dyno #'s

I'd start at simple stuff...try looking at ur plugs and see what kind of information you can pull off of them. They'll pretty much tell you where you are on A/F, timing, etc... I'd also do base engine stuff while you're pulling the plugs like compression and cylinder leakdown checks. You...
