    Cobra motor swap?

    Well, my car has been burning oil for a while now and this summer something is going to be done about it.. I just stumbled upon a built up cobra 5.0, supposedly made 275hp at the rear wheels when it was in a mustang. The owner is asking $1200 which may be negotiable. There's nothing wrong...

    Not exactly stang tech but..

    I would prefer to do it without pulling the lower, that way I have one less set of gaskets to replace. I haven't tried the vacuum yet, that was my plan for tomorrow. Thanks for the tips.

    Not exactly stang tech but..

    Long story short, I was scraping intake gasket off of the lower intake manifold on a 2.9 and a piece of the gasket fell down into the intake runner. How the heck do I get it out? I tried blowing air back up through it with the intake valve open but it won't blast it out of there. Ideas? :shrug:

    If you don't want to use pop-rivets and are worried about standard bolts coming loose, just double-nut them. Not very likely to come loose.

    Heater quit after TMOSS intake swap?

    Got it figured out, upon taking a close look at my heater core hoses I had a kink in the inlet hose. Re-oriented the hose to take out the kink and the heater started working normally again. Thanks for all the replies.

    I thought so, but would it matter? Is the flow of liquid only uni-directional inside of a heater core?

    My heater used to work great in my car, but after I put in my Tmoss lower intake I noticed that it doesn't work worth a crap now. The temp gauge goes up to what it should and the car warms up normally, but the heater only blows out lukewarm air at its very warmest. I don't have any antifreeze...
