    3.8 Blowing head gaskets?

My daughter has a 94 3.8 V6, and this will be the third time since we've owned the car to replace the head gaskets. It's the same one blowing, passenger side, rear hole, backside. Anyways, the last time she blew, I had the heads milled, radiator replaced, etc, etc. Lasted about 8,000 miles...

    Putting in headliner tomrrow

Agreed, put the headliner in first, then the front and rear glass. Although some say it is possible to put a headliner in with the glass installed, I think it almost impossible to install a headliner with the glass in. I've did several headliners, and all of them without the glass in. And...

    Question about installing windshields

Definately the rope trick works like nothing else! I used a piece of nylon rope that was about 1/4" thick. And, use two people, one in the car pulling the rope, and another on the outside, applying pressure as you pull the rope in, gasket pops right in place. Also, you WILL need to use ATV...

Well, today is August 2, and I just found out about it!!!!! I could not believe it. Anyways, Jeff is...

    Lincoln Versailles Rearend ?

Well, it probably wouldn't matter, except for the fact of the 17X8 wheels and tires my son's got on there. 1/2" here, 1/4" there, and it matters a lot with this wheel and tire combo. I guess it's a coin toss as to spend the $400 for a versailles rear that already has disc brakes, get a cheaper...

    Lincoln Versailles Rearend ?

I have the 17X8 Tourqe Thrust II wheels with the correct 4.75 backspacing, and I've had to roll the fender lips to get them to clear, and I have about two inches to spare between the wheel and the inner wheel housing on the rear, so that was the reason I wanted to cut the housing down about an...

    Lincoln Versailles Rearend ?

I have access to a 1979 Lincoln Versailles rearend assembly with driveshaft for $400. I know that's a little high, but those buggers are hard to find around here! I'm told that the versailles rear is 1/2" longer than a stock 66 stang rear. I actually will need to cut this down, as I would...

What do you guys think of new parts for engine compartment. You might have noticed that in the magazine article, our engine was sort of boring. I think this looks better now! New intake, valve covers, pully set, fan, distributor, and elbow grease!

Ignition cylinder + no keys = my universal key

When I welded in my new floor pans, I cut them in so they'd have about a 1/4 inch overlap and used sheet metal screws about every 4 inches and then after welding, took all the screws out and welded up the holes the screws left. Worked like a charm for me. Some people like to butt weld the pans...

    Finally got in the Magazine!!

Well, I'll tell this story! December 2002. The car was completed except for the wheels and tires. We ordered the wheels and tires just before Christmas hoping everything would be in so we could make the Crystal Springs show in January. Long story short, spend a lot of last minute craziness...

OK, guys, proud father bragging here, but I can't help it! My son's car has finally came out in the March issue of Mustang and Fords. I was beginning to think bad thoughts about Jeff Ford....but he came thru! First, his digital camera that took the shots in Silver Springs last January got...
