    Is the elbow you used is a stock trick flow? The reason I ask is my edelbrock unit seems to be a lot smaller (diameter) then that unit. Does it have a 75mm opening or is it more like 90mm?

    Smitty77 what is the over all height of the intake? I'm refer to only the upper unit from the bottom of the aluminum adapter plate to the top of the intake. I might have some clearance issues that I need to address before my purchase.

    Davidf a RPM II is not even the same catagory as the new trick flow upper and R lower. This intake is designed for serious airflow with little consideration for low end torque. If I didnt have my 393 stroker engine(or something similiar) I wouldnt even consider this intake.....IMO

    I'm intrested in that exact upper..... You say it need new fuel rails? What are the problems with the stock units? How did you mount the elbow on the upper? I couldn't see any way to bolt the front lower bolt on. Who much did you pay and where did you get it from? And last question what...

    Are these stock heads? If your going to put any kind of money in them you'll be better off to upgrade to some better units. You know......changing heads isn't a fun job may as well only do it once.

    Make sure the block isn't warped... use a straight edge and check it. Also w/o a doubt machine your heads if thats the ones your planning on using. Odds are one of the two is warped and get new head bolts too.

    mid to high 12's I think the mph is 112 or so I really dont drag w/o the nos It ran a best of 12.2 and 119.5 w/ the stock trick flow upper and floating valves(thanks to AFR's bad spring package) 295/35/18 bfg DR <hard to launch w/o spinning.Thats full weight w/leather and everything...

    Well just keep your eye on the res tank especially when you get on it alot. Mine was fine usually until i really reved the motor then i noticed the coolant level would start to rise. Might of been just an air bubble like I said on the other post. But at least now you now what to look for.

    maybe carbon? It still sounds like a head gasket. Just never heard of that (dirt) in the res bottle. Have you taken your rad. cap off(while the engine is running) and watched the coolant flowing? Does it have bubbles coming out through the opening and is there froth in that area also?

    Check your upper and lower CA their rubber bushings could be wore out allowing the axle housing to rotate up causing the rubbing. I replaced my arms and the rubbing went away.
