Anyhow I decided to spin the tires and all was going well until I shifted to second... instead of the tires smoking the clutch was slipping and smoking. What a nasty smell by the way!     I dont know about the BBK, but I have the Pro Chamber and my freind has the Mac o/r H and his is definatly louder. We both have 2 chamber 40's as well. They both sound great but I like the H pipe sound a bit more. The Pro chamber has alot more interior drone than his Mac H.

    Mac Prochamber

    I just put one on this weekend. Sounds great with the 40 series... My freind has the the Mac h-pipe, 40 series and his is definatly louder than the Pro-Chamber. I used the plug and play Mil's (about $50) and no SES light to be seen. I didnt notice any SOTP gains but am very satisfied so far.

    I would start by checking your inline fuse on the power cable if there is one. Some kits come wiht the fuse and some dont.

    Fosgate 1001BD hissing noise?

    I wired up with a 4 ga R/F kit. I did some searching on a car audio forum and the sound appears to be common with the R/F BD series amplifiers. The good thing is I can only hear it when the rear seats are down with zero volume. Thanks again!

    Fosgate 1001BD hissing noise?

    Just got my system hooked up and my RF 1001bd is making a sort of hissing/whining sound. The noise is coming from the amplifier not the speakers. Everything works and sounds great just wondering if the noise is normal and if not what could be causing it. Thanks in advance for any input. JG

    Will building a tapered sealed box to fit under the Mach460 tray sacrifice sound quality over a square box? The tapered sealed box will measure front = 13.5" tall 24" wide, back 7" tall 18" wide and 16" deep equaling roughly 1.5" cu.ft. A RF 1001bd will be powering a single dual4ohm s12l7...
