I measured a spoiler from one of Bobby Labonte's old cars for Martinsville and it was just a touch under 6 inches tall. Mine is just a touch over I do not enter turns at 180+ mph, however they do not enter turns at 180 + mph at Martinsville either, they are closer to 150. I do approach...

You are absolutely correct, if fact I've heard rumors that It's been wind tunnel tested. I simply did not like it and wanted a different solution. I search for a long time for one I did and that's the solution I preferred the most.

Compared to Drag Racing I'd say it's about the same reoccuring cost. I've been doing the HPDE's since February and the pads haven't shown the much wear despite the perpetually brake dust coated front wheels. However the pads cost 150. The upfront cost for road racing is probably higher...

That's how I feel about it. My road racing friends have all loved it. If someone doesn't like it it's there choice and I'm cool with that.

I don't autocross the car, not yet anyway. I take it to road courses, which are totally different, speeds are higher and turns vary a whole lot more. 90% of the Fox Body guys at the events I go to have a similar setup. I guess i've posted in the wrong market, but that's cool everyone has...

Who is this Rick and what does he sell? Have you ever watched a NASCAR race? I seemed to notice that. I may trim it down a touch, but there was actually a handful of discussions with some aero people at Virginia Tech and there wasn't much benefit from making it adjustable and much more...

That's all new, I used the bullet stuff from F/R and New bushings everywhere. Most of the racers in the AI and AIX groups have stuck with the stock like components. I've talked to a few guys who run the Torque arms and they typically say they could have spent the money better elsewhere, but...

At 90 mph Plus the car is much more settled than before. At VIR what I would call my home track, the front stretch is 3000 ft, but you in a constant curve and that's where I'm looking for the bigget improvement.

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2258763/3 I couldn't stand the Saleen Wing any longer so I fabbed this up. I've also made a scoop on the front to help with cooling on the road course. The Saleen Wing is now for sale, e-mail me [email protected] J

    That's it thanks!

    T5 Tranny

In the past I've found a company that was doing rebuilds on T5 transmissons claiming something like 600 hp capability. I know that a tremec would do this just as easy, but I need to get intouch with this company. I know I didn't give you much to go on, but if anyone has any leads it would be...

What else could cause a vibration???

I can see where you might think my claim is a rpm issue however I don't believe that it is. The only time this vibration happens is at high speed (mph) If i could "cruise" at 110 in third gear it would still happen the way it does when I push it on up to that speed in 4th then cruise there as...

What else could cause a vibration???

Here is something I haven't seen anyone post; have any of you with the vibration mentioned checked your pinion angle. Mine vibration, has changed over time. I started with an alum driveshaft, then I balanced it to be sure both times the vibration got a little better, more like it moved up the...

    Almost back together

I finished putting on the manifold and other goodies today. A few of you may remember I am testing some edelbrock heads for an article that will be on dragracingonline.com. Right now the only major component is the heads, there will be more to follow. Two different manifolds, and one maybe two...

For what it's worth I'm doing a tech write-up in co-operation with David Vizard(If you notice he does a lot of tech writing for MM&FFs as well as other magazines) for DragRacingOnline.com as well as possibly MM&FFs. I'll have before and after dyno results, may pics along they way as well as...

Cobra Brakes (Sn95) Conversion Brake Lines

I'm not trying to be diffucult here, but I'm still not sure my question has been answered. Regardless of bending, cutting, and flaring will the flex lines that bolt to the caliper fit the hard line that currently goes to the wheel cylinder or is this where the adapter needs to go? Thanks J

Cobra Brakes (Sn95) Conversion Brake Lines

is the purpose of the cutting and flairing to eliminate excess brake line going across the rear axle out to the calipers

Cobra Brakes (Sn95) Conversion Brake Lines

Thanks guys, What about the rear hard lines to the soft lines going to the calipers, will 93 Cobra lines work, or do I need adapters?
