The 4v 4.6 is the same height as the 2v. It is the 5.4 that is taller.

    Opinions on most intimidating sound

I voted MAC Flowpaths, because it's what I'm running now. I haven't heard the spintech's in person yet, but MRaburn just posted a vid of his car with the new Topline catback and Spintechs. It sounds awesome. :nice:

Estimate how fast I was going.

177 mph is your ideal mph without factoring in wind resistance. I would say somewhere around 160ish probably, give or take 5mph.

Thinking of getting a Mustang, need your input

If you can afford a Mach 1, don't even consider a GT. Just make sure you get a 5spd and not an auto. You should still be able to get a real good deal on a Mach 1 too.

    New and Need Help

This is a much better gear calculator. It account's for the transmission gearing in whatever year stang you have. Very good. According to this in 5th gear at 80mph you should be turning 3016 rpms with 245/45-17's and 4.30's. http://www.tchracing.com/tech/gearcalc.php EDIT: I forgot to...

    Did I hurt the Stang?

I use to do that all the time in my camaro, but I had a stage 3 th350 with a full manual valve body. Man that thing would like some F&%*ing tires up. I ended up putting a 700r4 in it. Wanted that overdrive. I was turning 3K at 60 mph. :nonono: Of course I can run it up to 7K :nice:

    Did I hurt the Stang?

it shouldn't hurt anything. Just don't make a habit of bouncing off the rev limiter.

you can get a Pro 5.0 for the 3650 and I believe you can get one for the 3550 as well. You can also get a Hurst for a 3650, but weither or not your is for a 3650, I don't know.

Some questions about a new shifter..

I have a Steeda Tri-Ax and I love it. There is also a Pro 5.0 which the Pro 5.0 guys love. Either one of those are great. The Pro 5.0 has a little stiffer springs (from what I've heard), but the handle is to far of a reach for me. Either way you go those are probably the top recommendations.
