    help on speakerbox build! ..pics?

This is a thread meant for the Sound and Shine section. However, I'm waiting for someone to design a box that goes in place of the box in the back for the speakers in the rear shelf, to put 2 10's or something in so I don't have to sacrafice my trunk space or alot of extra weight due to the box.

    Spark plug change gone bad

if none of that works you could check your MAF. It if is rotated to much in one direction then it will run really lean and have a rough idle and throw a code. That's what happened to me.

    Mach 1 mods?(bang for buck)

I agree with TR03Mach1 about the gears. You should probably go with 4.10's or 4.30's. If you are a 5sp and redline @ 6800 I personally would go with 4.30's, however if you do alot of highway driving (like alot) the 4.10's would probably be more to your liking. I get about 275 to 300 miles out...

I have heard that some k-members have bolts that aren't all the way tight. You could try that first

stay with 3:55 or go 4:10

If you have an auto then you don't have more rpm's than a 2v. If you have a 5spd then you do have more of an rpm range and you should go with 4.10's or 4.30's maybe. I love my 4.10's and would have been really disappointed if I went with anything less. I also have a speedcal that is really...

    Anyone dealt with Steen Racing?

I had my 4.10's done there as well. They did an awesome job. Great people, very nice, knowledgable (sp?), very good price, quality work and I try to do all the business I can through them. Jason is real good guy, business wise anyway (I don't know him outside business) One thing I love about...

    4.10 gears want!! And questions!

I think that if you have to ask if gears are easy to install, then you shouldn't try it. Too easy to screw something up. It is going to easy and better and cheaper in the long run if you pay to have someone do it. I took mine to a stang shop here and drove away $400 lighter, but 4.10 heavy in...

4.10 Gear ..how much will I lose?

I agree with everyone here that says N/A = 4.10's and S/C = 3.73. I just got back from about an 1800 mile round trip with my 4.10's and got on average, 23 mpg with a best of about 25 mpg. :nice: That was half mountains and half flats. I love the 4.10s in the mountains because you don't have...

Thinking of next mod, something small....

I would say to go with a shifter as well, though I am considering getting a UPR blue thunder shifter. I just love the stick design :nice: I know that I wouldn't see it with the stock shift boot, but that can be fixed.
