Read This if You Have a Vortech Tensioner Piece!

On my buddies S-Trimmed 95, we have to really jam on that belt to get it to stop slipping. Although it was colder out when it was slipping. Does anyone make an aftermarket tensioner for these cars?

Paul Here is your TECH/ Debate thread.

I like the fact that Pro-M calibrates specifically for supercharged applications. It was extremely important for me in particular with the blow-thru setup. I mean they put my meter on ProCharger tubing and calibrated it like that.

    New Dyno and 1/4 #'s

Good choice. :nice: If your tuner is cool with the C&L then all is well. Good luck! They'll probably be able to get a little more power out of it too!

    fog lights

All Mustangs are wired for fog lights. Just add the lights and the switch and you are good to go. Edit - Unless you have a GTS, your car should of came with foglights. Unless maybe the previous owner deleted them.

    New Dyno and 1/4 #'s

If I was in your shoes, I would buy 42's, a calibrated MAF, a 255 in-tank pump and go get dyno tuned. 30's are waaay too small for a blown car at your power level. My 36's are just about maxed out for me. I'm very surprised you are not running very lean as is.

    AODE tranny cooler guys

Yeah it can be done without pulling the bumper off. You have to be a little creative with your hands through the grill opening and bumper holes etc but it can be done!

    AODE tranny cooler guys

I run a B&M Supercooler and bypassed the stock radiator cooler completely. I did this because my supercharger tubing gets in the way but also for simplicity. I have it mounted parallel to the ground near the bottom and it's ran great like that for 5 years now. Good luck!

AODE guys - need some help and opinions

The electronic shift plus or whatever you call it is useless. I got one awhile ago, used it for a couple days and removed it. It's sitting in my garage because I would feel bad selling it.

    Dino vs Synthetic Oil

I run good old regular oil. I tried synthetics and I burnt it and it managed to leak a little more. It's expensive, I'd rather get 50,000 less miles from the motor than spend $40ish+ for an oil change each time. To each his own though.

    Will a Fox supercharger fit a SN-95?

The bracket to mount the supercharger is different. The blower inlet tubing is probably different. The outlet tubing will be different too. It's probably more of a PITA then it's worth. I'd personally find a 94-95 kit.

BLOWN HG...What to do to prevent it again?

At your boost level, you really shouldn't have a problem blowing head gaskets. It's probably in the tune. Vortech cars usually run a boost retard system. Have you gotten a custom tune or just dyno pulls?

anyone have pics of rear seat delete ?

Honestly, it really didn't save much weight. The backs of the rear seat are semi-heavy (20 lbs.) and the bottom cushion is pretty light already. The delete kit is light itself. It's made of lightweight peg board stuff (I forget the technical term for it). And that's exactly why I got it in...

Going to a breather setup over a PCV

Carb cleaner works very well in cleaning the mesh screen and pcv valve. I rarely ever buy a new one. Also, since you are boosted, you should probably run a breather. I bought a K&N one, it simply replaces the stock oil filler cap.
