    Car Pulls to Left on the Brakes

    When I hit the brakes, the car goes off to the left. Also, its a bit easier to steer to the left than to the right... could this be related? New calipers / pads / rotors / flex lines as of January.

    Ugh... the D is what hurts... These are my first two C's since I went back to school. Ive gotta make sure this doesnt happen again. Too much stuff going on at the end of the semseter got me off track. I was golden in physics and statics until the second half of this semester.

    Yikes... I know it was a pita to get mine loose... maybe hose it down with some wd40 liquid wrench pb blaster... whatever your choice is... see if that does the trick. If you want mine its yours, just hook it up with shipping cost.

    What a fine pearl of wisdom! :D All I was saying... if you are worrying about a degree of rod angle, or your stroke to rod ratio... stick with a 302. We'll see ya back in the pits.

    If they are doing better with a 306, that means they arent using the right parts on a motor with bigger cubes. If you build a 331/347 with a 302 in mind, its gonna run like a 302, if not worse.

    Go with more stall. High stall isnt very bad on the street, I was running a 3800 stall in the LS1.

    Why did you put 302 parts on a 342? I would have stepped up to at least an AFR 185 on that motor. That motor isnt getting enough air, and you are getting poor performance out of it.

    Ever done the math to see the difference in rod angle? We arent talking a degree between the two. Max Angle between the piston and rod in a 347 is 18.34 degrees. Max Angle between the piston and rod in a 331 is 17.51 degrees. The SEVERE angle difference between the two is, oh, not even one...

    Turndowns / Dumps off the H-Pipe?

    Yep... the dumps ended underneath the axle. ON a side note, car must not have liked that being removed, it doesnt want to idle today.
