    Timing adjust

    I don't know how to adjust the timing on my car. Also, it's not running, and I was speculating that part of the issue was that the timing is totally out of whack. How does one adjust timing, and can it be done on a car not running? Thanks.

    You'll get the controller, it just takes time. I griped to Baskin about mine a few months ago after waiting a tad too long for my taste, he just happened to be shipping it that week. Oh well, timing is everything. Either way, I got it and it works great.

    Just take your time and don't rush into getting a tat, you're only 18 and your view of such things will change over time. I've got a few tat's, I think my first was when I was 21 or 22. Just make sure it's something you really want, and don't do it impulsively. Custom work would be a good idea...

    All those little particles that would have gotten trapped in the filter are now getting into the engine. It will wear the engine sooner.

    Eh, yeah. At least it's your engine, not mine. Also, the filter NEEDS the oil in order to trap dirt, dust, etc. I think it's cheaper to run a clean and oiled filter than to replace an engine, but that's just my opinion. What do I know?

    Could be the case. Sounds like you need a new water pump. I'd also replaced the t-stat while I was at it, install a 180* if you haven't already.

    I just put a complete ultra-clear headlight set on my GT. Looks very clean, but a bit on the ghetto side if you ask me.
