    Haha I had the same thing happen lol I used a crow bar edge to hold the strut ( mine have a flat head channel) while my buddy turned the nut with a wrench. Just take it to a small shop or tell the guys at pep boys that you want to use the impact wrench lol

    Yea, just head on over to maximum motorsports' website and look at the instructions on c/c plate install. You can shift around the little silver spacer sleeves on the end of the strut at the plates to adjust the length of the exposed end of the strut so it doesn't rub on the underside of the hood.

    Energy suspension is good, I bought the polyurethane mounts from late model resto and they've given me no problems.

    Go onto americanmuscle.com and click on their technical articles, they have a good spring install writeup. I tend to unbolt the strut at the top and let the control arm down with a floor jack, versus unbolting the shock from the control arm, etc. because I find those bolts hard to move...

    My mac o/r h leaks alot even after using the ford crush gasket. Do yourself a favor and use good amounts of copper RTV while you're down there putting the new gasket in place.

    Check temps in realtime using the diagnostic system. Try to do a compression test as well, I won't say it might be cracked head gasket because it doesn't spew coolant out of the resevoir cap.....or does it???
