Suspension problems

I have a 2004 mustang gt automatic with H&R ss springs, Strange struts and shocks and mm cc plates. The struts sound horrible ( knocking sound ) they ride hard no matter what setting I use. The struts are also rubbing the hood. I call Strange and they said that the struts are like that. Im thinking of getting rid of the struts and shocks and getting Tokico HP series, are they a good choice? Thanks for the help.

Have you tried adjusting the spacers on the MM c/c plates to get the shocks to stop rubbing?

No, I haven't. Could that work?

Yea, just head on over to maximum motorsports' website and look at the instructions on c/c plate install. You can shift around the little silver spacer sleeves on the end of the strut at the plates to adjust the length of the exposed end of the strut so it doesn't rub on the underside of the
hood.
