    Good points all. Matt this is just the first step. We still have to paint the engine bay and dash-semi gloss black. Then we're going to paint the stripes. On Saturday I'm going to work with the painter to get the strip measurements, etc.

    Historic, is the space under the hood scoop painted the same color as the body (i.e., blue) or did you paint it black? Also, do you have hood scoops? If so, did you close them off or make them functional?

    Can someone run out to their garage and give me the measurements for the shelby hood? I know the hood scoop is centered but how far to the rear of the hood is the scoop? I'm guessing a few inches but I want to be sure.

    I didn't run the MDS box with my setup. I got a discount from the guys at Kragen but it was still pretty expensive.

    I had a Blaster 2 and distributor installed at the same time and I noticed a big difference. The car starts and idles much better than before. Also, when I step on the gas she moves much faster. I upgraded the dist., coil, spark plugs and wires all at the same time.

    Foggy glass question

    Thanks for the tips guys. I've heard about some guys replacing the glass but I don't think my situation is all that bad. I'll have to check out that Eastwood kit. Luckily, I have some time before I have to make a decison.
