Dying rear cloth seat- What to use?

Hey guys, I'm trying to dye my rear seat, cuz the previous owner of my 'stang decided to use Krylon to change the interior to black from black/grey- they went over everything. Carpet, leather seats, everything. Didn't bother to mask anything off either- DANG this is gonna be tough. Anyway...

1st layer deep paint scratches.... not deep enough for touchup paint to hold.question

I just got done wetsanding my hood, and the tops of my fenders . (doing the whole car, just don't have time to do it all at once) When you're done wetsanding it should be dull and VERY smooth to the touch. Then, you'll need some good cutting creme to get rid of the swirls, etc. Just don't...

Car studders on hard right hand corners? Help?

Hmm that's interesting because the fuel pump is REALLY loud- I wonder if he swapped in a Whinebro or something like that- without a FPR, that would definitely make me run rich. I need an FPR/gauge combo for my turbo kit, so I might as well do it now. :) Oh, I noticed as well, I put $15 worth...

Car studders on hard right hand corners? Help?

Hey guys, When getting onto the highway on one of those real sharp 270deg turn on-ramps, when I am in the last leg of the ramp, and floor it to merge into traffic, still going around the corner the car spudders and spits, hesitates, etc. after a few seconds it just snaps back to normal- no...

    Best way to remove tint...

There's this stuff- you can get it at Walmart or probably any auto parts store- called Tint-off. That removes the adhesive VERY well. Just peel the old tint off, and spray this stuff on, and use a razor blade to get the glue off. It comes off in big gooey chunks. Probably works just as well...

How to Clean my engine bay

I use purple power, diluted a bit from 1:1. Also use engine degreaser in a can- great stuff. After the engine's warm, spray that stuff on it, let 'er sit, and low-pressure hose it off. Then, after it's all dry and clean, spray it with some foaming tire cleaner- the whole thing- it'll make all...

    Starting a detail business

I'm actually doing this- On the side- just to gain some experience/clientelle. I've done 4 cars so far, (JUST started, but it's picking up faster- averaging one a week steadily, up from nothing a month ago) and do a full 3 stage Meguire's wax job, clean the wheels, polish if necessary, tire...

Why the hell is my car so fast?

Yeah, I used to own a 96 Civic hatch - but I swapped in the H22a VTEC motor from a newer Prelude (205 hp/160tq) that was in a 2000 lb car. THEN i added a 50 shot of n20, CAI, exhaust, and ECM chip. It was a quick lil car. Without the CAI, chip, and n20, and with my timing WAAAAY off due to an...
