    i need to remove the condensor, as its the last part of the ac left on the car. i'll order that part, and install it and remove the condensor. if that doesnt help i have been debating a new rad setup, so i'll go that route

    the wheel cylinders have less than 3000 miles on them, as they are new from when i went to 5lug. but, i will get a buddy to help me check by holding the brakes. but i have a hard time believing with as much fluid loss as i am experiencing, there is nothing wet.

    as much fluid as im leaking, if its a wheel cylinder it would be ****ing all over the drums. its emptied the master cylinder 2.5 times in 1500 miles. there is nothing on the brake system that is wet. im thinking its leaking back into the booster too. but i dont know how to check for it.

    its not overheating, just getting very warm. much warmer than I have seen in the past.

    I am getting warm after extended periods on the highway. did search read about plastic under carriage bit often being missing. I am guess you guys are referring to this red circled lip. if not, than can someone explain what you guys are talking about?

    with only 3.55's, and only cutting 1.6x's a 12.0 with his power is what i'd expect. if he power shifted, and cut into the low 1.5x's he'd be running 11.6 or better

    are you positive its a 351W? Most 351s in the late 70's trucks were 351M's and they came backed with big block C6's. That C6 if the truck is a 351W is kind of rare, as its a small block C6. I'd be curious to know which it is

    john, if you wanna just new pistons you're best bet is, tear the motor down, take the block, pistons, and old piston/rods into a machine shop. have them hang the pistons on the rods, and mic. the block and pistons for clearance. they can tell you what needs done prior to assembly.

    well, as you can see from the rear gear pictures, the car was riding on stock, 20 year old shocks. Between the roads in cali, and the bbk springs the shocks died. and died hard. i installed some Tokico blues today, and man what a difference. to anyone riding on stock shock with drop springs...

    timing cover part number help

    I have a 5.0 out of an 89 mustang(fairly low miles) that we are dropping in a 68. My issue is this, we plan to run carb, and a standard rotation water pump(no serp setup) I have found a 5.0 timing cover with the part #E3AE-6059-CA is the waterpump for this going to be standard rotation?

    well, i got to thinking, its throwing EGR codes due to not having one, won't that cause it to go lean(the car leaning itself out to accommodate the EGR, when its not there?)

    the idle issues seems to have cleared up quite a bit, however my father thinks lean on both banks is a vacuum issue... oh the joy
