    I got a short block with my mustang, that i know is no good. however, i got curious while looking at it, the block is casting E7TE-CA but the rods are D10E-AA is this pretty standard, or has someone rebuilt this before? Also, someone wants the rods(for free) only if they are HO rods...

    lean has nothing to do with timing... is lean you're moving to much air. taking out timing might decrease the chance of detonating, but isnt going to guarantee it..

    we maxed out the lightning mass airs at around 400hp... you are trying to make 500hp. let me give you some advice. here are three words cheap, reliable, fast you can pick 2. pony up for an sct, they are like 250 bones. what block is in your car? if its stock its on borrowed time at that power
