    I found out what is causing drivablility issues. i.e. sudden loss of power like the motor is flooding with the throttle body fully open. My logs show the ECT going to -246 and ACT to -60 (or similar). Not sure why this is happening but when I go back to the #5 position (tweecer bypass)...

    what color silicone to use on timing cover and WP gaskets??

    I use brush tac that is made by permatex on the paper gaskets for the timing cover and water pump, haven't had one leak yet. Its nasty brown in color and will stain your hands, but seals great.

    I know with winter driving, the narrower the tire = the better. More weight per square inch of tire that is contacting the road. Wider tires float easier, hence they break loose easier.

    85ss, I might have a set of those mark vii bbs rims from a 90 mark vii lsc. I sold mine to a friend and he ended up selling his car. He still has the rims. They need sandblasted and painted but I'm sure he'd take 100 bucks or less.
