    I'm pretty sure they just mean that the engine hasn't been retrofitted for emissions and wouldnt pass any inspections. It is just like and off-road H-pipe. It doesnt have the cats on it so it isnt "street legal". That is all

    If you can prove that the warranty work started before the end of the warranty period, I would think you have a case. The faulty parts were sent based on a warranty claim that was filed in the appropriate time frame so that should carry over until the claim is complete. Am I a lawyer? NO, but...
