    I would runa good MLs gasket (cometic) and see about gaining your compression with some minor head work...Your heads dont appear to have any bowl work done to them. You could gain across the board by getting them cleaned and opened up little and not los the quench by installing a taller/thicker...

    Autometer question - opinions needed

    I woudl go allt he way to 460 if you are gonna spend money on big block. the 400m is not that great and you will need to do some pretty significant modifications to install including pan change (oil pickup as well) trans tunnel clearance for C6 (C6 heavy power robbing trans) and dirveshaft sense...

    Yes but you are better off for the money switching to after market rack like flaming river. I dont know what the part number for the spring is but I have a friend who change dhis and it wasnt too hard..it is messy though.

    Pan hard bar assist with lateral load and thats just the kind of load you will be battling. If you stiffen chassis and add lift assist like an anti roll bar you rear end being a four link setup will still want to track laterally given one tire hooks up better then another which your car will...

    Arent 10 holes 7" wide or are they 8"? I dont remember because I run welds currently and will probably never go back to stocker wheels. If eight " then you could put a 255 on the back and keep your 225 in front or even go down to a 205 with taller sidewall. just my .002

    Cam degree

    You should always degree the cam on install unless its bone stock rebuild (even then it wont hurt) valve events are crucial and if cam is ground for certain event timings and its not installed correctly then its worthless and you might as well not have performance cam.

    yeah yous hould fall into the 9.7 ish range..depending on headgasket bore and thickness. I imagine you would run a 4.06 or 4.1 bore head gasket probably between 021 -041 thick so anywhere between 9.5 and under 9.8 woudl be good guestimate.
