    to get mine to pass I put premium fuel in it, made sure it was really hot and pulled out the spout so it stayed at base timing(10*) the whole test. before doing this i had really failed the NOx part by almost twice the amount allowed doing what i did made the car fly through

    +1 Happend to me where i had to floor the gas pedal just to get it to start when the car was hot. I replaced the ECT(engine coolant temp sensor) and it solved the issue. did you dump the codes??

    Just for the hell of it. Look in the throttle body while you have someone floor the pedal and see how far it opens. Just to see how far the blade is actually opening from the gas pedal its self

    I understand that. so it doesnt shake when the trans is in neutral?? When the car is shaking while idling, does it stop shaking when you put the trans in neutral or does it still shake? 5spd or auto??

    Just got it to pass. all I did was run Premium fuel, make sure it was really hot and pulled the spout out

    Cant i just remove the spout and run it like that. so it stays at the base timing through the whole test. timing did get checked and with spout out it is 10* Maybe run some a little menthyl hydrate with the fuel??

    try a junk yard. and I think its the white or off white pin in the pic that the metal piece is covering that stops the cable moving. you push it up when you want to adjust the cable
