    Shifter info

I didn't need a new boot as I have a rubber bushing/grommet that goes on the boot and around the handle. There is a number on it, 9353, which may help. Here's a link to their website that shows different options. It doesn't specifically callout the handle and grommet, but I think if you...

Stock 09 GT Dyno Results, Tuned with HP Tuners

Pretty impressive numbers (Hp/Torque) for just a tune!

    Shifter info

Hey, I have the set-up that you're looking at doing. 1. Yes they will bolt-up. However, the holes that were in my Hurst handle were a bit larger that the allen bolts themselves. I found a plastic dowel that was a little larger that the hole in the handle, tapped it in, then drilled out the...

    First door ding......

Yes, venting is good, it helps you get over it. I have actually read a study that stated that using profanities helps you to overcome pain better/easier/quicker. I always preached to my kids, stay away from the Mustang, don't play by the Mustang, walk your bike when you're next to the Mustang...

COMP CAMS STAGE 2 CAMS or FRPP HOT RODS

I've been thinking of installing either of these camshafts (Comp Cams Stage 2 or FR Hot Rods) (I would love to do a SC, just can't save my allowance up for that long :( ). I have looked at the HP/Torque numbers for both and it would appear that the Hot Rods are a little bit better. The main...

    FOG LIGHT QUESTION

I have the magazine here at home, it's in the 5.0 Showcase Section, Page 138, Darrell Redding's 2006 GT.

    FOG LIGHT QUESTION

I think the latest version of 5.0 Mustangs and Fast Fords has a picture of a Mustang that has the fog lights mounted behind the grille. If I remember right, they looked pretty good, IMO. You might want to check it out.

Driving with the TCS turned off

I know this probably sounds very stupid, but is it just me or does my car seem like it has more power with the TCS (Traction Control System) turned "OFF". I always use to drive the car with the TCS "ON", since that's the state it always wants to be in, plus it's kinda a pain to reach-up an hit...

Where to find Calibration and Axle Code?

Calibration code is the number on the side of the computer, which can be found in the front left corner of the engine compartment. Axle code can be found on the tag that is bolted onto the rear axle cover or there is some sort of code/letter designation on the decal that is on the dirvers...

    New and improved tune

Please tell the rest of us where you got your new tune from, Dyno-tune, e-mail tune, etc. I'm sure others may be interested in knowing as well. I know how you feel though, I was very surprised to feel the difference in my car, even when I uploaded my 87 octane tune from Brenspeed.:nice:

    Agent 47 Vortex Generators

I checked them out and sorry, but I would pass. I did like the Agent 47 Rear Spoiler though.

    Door noises

Not exactly sure if this is the same, but when it's colder out where I'm at, I'll get a squeak on my car in kind of the same general area. Mine comes from the driver's side and the point where the dash plastic meets the pillar arm plastic. You can see where they rub against each other as the...

    I'm embarrassed

Once again, your grammar could be better, I think you meant STRIPES. But that's just my opinion. Just wondering why you feel the need to bully everyone around? People on this site normally don't act this way. But what do I know, I own/drive a 4-Door POS.

    Trunk release switch

I also did the Trunk Release Switch in my Mustang. I had saved one of the switches from when I was parting out FOX body Mustangs and used it, so I saved a few bucks there. I have to agree though, very cheap, easy install! I really enjoy having this feature inside the car.:nice:

    I'm embarrassed

Not that I'm trying to be the one with an attitude but I would have to agree with Gearbanger on this one. This is why: "And just were in my post is it grammaricly incorrect ? Or maybe you are having a unnecessary Attitude." were - I think you meant to say WHERE grammaricly - This is not a...

    I'm embarrassed

OK, I've got something to say to this post, as I am the owner of a SHO and a Mustang GT. Granted my SHO is a 1991 and I have been known to call it a POS (only in good fun), for it's era it was a fairly fast car (it will run mid to high 14's @ 98 mph, GTECH times). I guess I really don't...

    14.618 @ 3192 ft (DA)

Something to be said about your 60ft times. I've always heard that every 10th you can knock out of your 60ft times = 2/10ths on your final time. So consider this: 2.3 down to 2.0 = 3/10ths x 2 = 14.6 down to 14.0 2.3 down to 1.8 = 5/10ths x 2 = 14.6 down to 13.6 Then if you consider...

06 GT just died. Where do I begin?

First thing I was going to suggest as well, Fuel Filter. Actually, I think Ford recommends changing it after the first 15K miles. The biggest help you're going to get is if these are any codes present. The other thought that crossed my mind is possibly some goofy Security System glitch...
