    Want tone without drone

Just installed the Bassani's. Picked up from D Mustang at 9:30, had them on the car by 12:30. I couldnt tighten down the bands tight enough with the tools I have so I went down to my favorite Muffler shop. They hit em with an impact wrench, torqued them down, and positioned them in like 5...

    Want tone without drone

Thanks, cause I am really on the edge of just buying the Macs. Ive heard the Borla touring axle back is like the only option for good tone with no drone but they cost twice as much. I just know Ill keep the stock system over drone.

    Want tone without drone

Im looking to add an axle back this weekend. Want mufflers not stingers. I do a lot of highway cruising and cant stand the flowmaster type of drone. I can pick up either the Bassani SS or the Mac SS axle back locally. Can someone with one of these set ups comment on the highway drone factor...

    Disappointed in my paint

If the paint job was factory defective Ford shoud pay for a paint job, otherwise this is a good reason to get a Custom Paint Job of your own specifications......:D

    Disappointed in my paint

That may be mostly clearcoat damage. My front bumper on my 04 was like that but not as noticable (yellow paint) I was going to have it repainted but instead buffed it out with my orbital buffer using warm soapy water and mild polishing compound. Made a huge improvment. Then you might try...

    Engine oil overfilled question.

Ive got an 06 so it could be different but on mine the top hole on the dipstick is the absoute highest level, and you shouldnt go one drop over there. The normal full hash mark is actually lower than the hole and is the perfect level. Thats one reason I always change my own oil. Those guys...

    Went Black, wont go back.

Black is tough to keep clean but it hardly ever rains around here so its mostly a dust off with a microfiber towell and quick detailer.Every day:D The original wheels wernt bad at all but they were 17x 8's w/235's. And now its a bit meaner looking with 18x9 wheels w/255's.

You are crazy, If it aint broke dont fix it. GT's have better brakes for a reason, not for looks. I dont know where your at but Craigs list in Dallas has tons of OEM wheels for sale....CHEAP.

    Automatic gear shifter messed up

That part can be had from the dealer. Not sure what they call it, its a long plastic slide cover that follows the shifter to keep trash and dirt off the inner linkage. The dealer can give you a printed diagram of how to install.
