    No, they don't backfire, you don't need a tune. The loudmouths are loud:nice:(mostly when your in the throttle) But don't drive you out of the car with a lot of drone. I have them and love them:D

    I don't have the camber bolts in hand but I have read that you have to elongate the holes for them to fit. Also if the stock holes have no adjustment, then without elongating them where would the adjustment come from??:shrug:

    Black Car

    In the olden days (60's-70's) I used to see a grounding strap on a lot of cars. It was conected to the rear end and drug on the ground. I was told that this would eliminate static, :shrug: don't know but my car is also black and I was thinking of getting the strap.

    Have you found what your shifting problem is yet? I have the same problem with mine. It worked fine until a high rpm run and then just quit going into fourth. I think I may have done something to one of the clutch packs?? I know my tv cable is set up right. Let me know

    I changed the modulator. While I was under there I re-adjusted the bands-10ft.lbs.ea. backed off the low reverse 3 turns and the intermediate 1 3/4 is this correct for a 1978 C-4? One book I have says ft. lbs and one says in. lbs. Anyway when I went for a test drive it shifted VERY smooth...

    What type of TV rod or cable are you using? How are the other shifts? (quick and smooth or slow and hard) sounds like it may not be ajusted corectly. If your running a carb most don't have the proper geometry for the rod or cable and you need an adapter. Need more info.

    I just bought a C-4 used "HP rebuilt" :lol: I just put it in and it shifts fine manually but if I let it shift auto. it will shift from 1-3 w/o 2nd sometimes it does shift right but not smooth. I have no background history on the rebuild could this be a full manual or do I have a problem? :(
