    Will this tick do anything to the internals? When I built the motor in my '91 if I heard something like this I would flip out. Does Ford know what causes this tick?

    Yeah, if you could send me the TSB's that would be [email protected] The tech at the dealership said that he's never heard one tick like this before. It almost sounds like something is hitting the valve cover, is this what yours sounds like? Thanks!! :nice:

    Save you gas......you will loose. The LS1 is a VERY good motor. I had an 02 GT and ran my friends 01 SS and he handed me my bootie. Even if you get him off the line he will catch you on top end.....good luck.
