I have the pro-5.0 and love it. perfect blend between short throws and not being too notchy. I have a buddy with an MGW and its just too notchy for my tastes. anything is better than the stock shifter by leaps and bounds so it wont matter too much which way you go.
pulls the plugs and widen them up to about .045 and go from there. Do you have any aftermarket ignition components to strengthen the spark (MSD blaster, 6AL, 7AL, etc)
i have a 2g, a full stereo upgrade, deck, speakers, 1 decent size 12'' sub w/ a 600watt amp and SHO taurus fan which pulls stupid amounts of amps; and so far so good (knocks on wood). When it breaks i will be stepping up to a 6g.
very nice gt. looks cherry. my vote would go to the cobras if they didnt have that nasty offset in the rear. It would look amazing with some spacers out back but i know thats usually taboo.
all i know is that fan pulls some stupid CFM numbers. I have one on my car with the stock alternator and although the volt meter drops like a rock when i flip the switch i've seen no other negative effects
we probably could of squeezed a couple more hp out of it with a chip tune instead of simple timing/fuel pressure adjustments, but i figure if there is no forced induction a chip tune is money to the wind.
yea its unbelievable that the car is still even running after all the crap its been through. I pretty much tore the top end off the car on a whim and had a chiltons manual in one hand and a pair of wrenches in the other. After putting the car back to gether (it was QUITE the learning experience)...
it was well worth the 125 bucks. plus i didnt really spend a dime cause as we were walking out my gf said happy valentines day and handed me a paid reciept. aint that nice...
just a reg ol dynojet, the funny thing was the guys at the shop told me not to expect much because they said its one of the 'lower' reading dynojets in town and there were a lot of broken hearts from other owners when their vehicles put down slightly smaller numbers than expected.
