    newbie question here

What year is your Mustang? Earlier cars were carburated, later CFI, later with speed density/EFI, later mass air/EFI. '88 California cars had mass air whereas everywhere else sold speed density.

No. At any rate, is the filter they sell paper or the oiled cloth?

Looking for a conical PAPER air filter to mate up to a 80mm Pro-M

Any ideas? I've been told that the oil used on the K&N filters, and those like them, can create a film on the MAF sensor and make them send a faulty signal.

How is this setup going lean?

You cannot run a car with 30# injectors and a 30# "calibrated" MAF with the stock 19# EEC fuel/timing maps without some drivability, AFR, and/or power output issues. Plain and simple. You MUST have the EEC's fuel/timing curves remapped due to your 36.33% load error on your combo. The '94-95...

Alignment issue. Aligned and still pulls HELP

So, you've got a situation where the tech can align the vehicle on the rack, but as soon as you drive it the right wheel goes out. Correct? If it were a caliper, then it would be situation where the rotor and pads would be wearing out on that side...which shouldn't throw a wheel out of...

emissions help- how to lean out

This may explain part of your problem. http://www.mustangworks.com/articles/electronics/InductionBlues.html Timing changes often have insignificant changes in AFR and emissions. It's likely you just need to have the ECU recalibrated for your mods.

    injectors for 400rwhp?

You will have the ECU reprogrammed, won't you? Nod your head yes. It's all in the tune. Either a programmable system like a PMS, TwEECer, or the like OR have a professional do it with a "chip". Having a "calibrated" MAF for your combo is just the beginning...unfortunately that's were a lot...

Converting '88LX to MAF... need opinions

Welcome to the board, "ProDetroit". Nice to have another Michigander. At any rate, for your current project, the stock 19# injectors will be just the ticket. The new manifold won't really be needed until you do the heads, as the heads are the real restriction in the combo. It is true...

    Need tuning help!!!

When you did your measurement...did you take it off of a small vacuum line, or one of the larger ones? It makes a difference...like about 3-4 Hg in my case...the smaller the I.D., the more the pressure is dampened, and the more inaccurate. In addition, was the measurement stable, or did it...
