have you done the front wheel bearings on the daewoo? the whole strut has to come out it is pressed in to the steering knuckle. the machine shop charged 50.00 to change them.

I was debating on some new head bolts, bought them, installed them and when i went to look through my hardware buckets today i found my almost brand new arp head bolts. Damn i guess i have a set for my next engine. It just makes you feel like a tard sometimes.
All i need is this junk yard...
I have a 302 that im putting a fresh set of gt40 heads on and need to know what sealer i put on the threads?
also is it only the short ones that get the sealer?

well
thanks for all the replies im on a tight junk yard build budget but 40 bucks aint bad. so then could arp bolts be used at a later date when this engine eventually needs a rebuild?

i was told there torque to yeild fastners and are one time use. is this true then? i know this is probally stupid. ive used fe bolts over and over with no problems but those are big bolts.
lucas
i would drain 2 quarts out and put one quart of lucas in and see what happens. if not much better then put the other quart of lucas in and see what happens i bet it will work.

speedo cable
the end that fits the trans looks like it should work. the end that goes in the gauge im not sure becuase that cable has the screw in type. im not very fox mustang savy but i would think the fox gauge would be the push in type. i hope someone can chime in for further help.
chebby guys

cool
i was hoping it would be ok. im more familiar with the bbf 390 fe series and 460 385 series. the little 302 amazes me how with very little it can wip a 350 chebby, usally the bigger engine has the upper hand. so i still got more to learn on the efi 302. thanks
i just got a set of Ford Racing Pedestal Mount Roller Rocker Arms M-6564-B351. 1.60 ratio

i posted on the classic forum and no one could give any input. i figure my setup is a 5.0 mustang running gear so that could be the problem.
