    50resto weatherstrips....leaking.

Yeah, put the weatherstrip on the car real quick and mark where that tight corner is then pull it back off the car. Then fish about a 6" long piece of hose so its evenly placed over that corner area you marked. I sprayed a little silicone spray on the hose and inside the weatherstrip so...

    50resto weatherstrips....leaking.

I bought the 5.0 Resto weatherstrip and had trouble with water leaks at the top back corners where the radius is tight and the weatherstrip kinks there. So I took the weatherstrip back off and fished a small piece of rubber vacuum line up into the weatherstrip right where the tight radius is and...

    Brake Question

Ok, I just installed some 73mm calipers and cross drilled and slotted rotors. I bleed everything out good and I still seem to have a slightly spongy pedal. It'll lock the front tires up evenly still but just not a hard pedal. The pedal is near the top but spongy if you really stand on it. Maybe...

    Roll bar/cage questions

8 Point or 10 point is most likely going to do what you want it to do. The 8 point has the door bars you have to climb over to get in the car. Then the 10 point has the added bars that run along the top of the doors near the headliner with a bar that runs above the windshield where your...

AOD car going T-5 cpu issues??

Yep you're all set. As long as you jumper the wires for the Park Neutral switch your fine. I hooked those wires up to my neutral safety switch on my T-5 and every time I put my car in a gear it would jump the idle up about 200 RPMs. Took me a while to figure that one out.

    best way to clean parts???

Parts washers are actually really cheap if you look around. I've seem them under $100. Then you fill it with mineral spirits and one quart of tranny fluid so your parts dont all rust as soon as you dry them off. Saves the enviroment and pays off in the end seeing you can wash many things in the...

They're transmission pumps are scrap, they're converters are scrap and they're rebuilt trannys are scrap. He finally had Dynamic...

    binding tie rods

My cars pretty low and my tie rod angle is very close to yours, maybe not quite as extreme as yours. I get zero binding with mine and I dont have offset rack bushings. I think your problem is elsewhere. Ball joint problems are sometimes hard to find with the coil spring pushing on them its hard...

cdog301: I have Roush stage 3 18X9's and I had to roll the fenders to get them to clear but they look bad ass and in handles like it's on rails here is a picture! I think it actually looks pretty good. Maybe the whole car makes it come together. Sweet Coupe though!

car falls on face in 3rd gear

What RPM are you going through the trap at with the SROD? I cant imagine it would be very high. If you're pulling low RPM's in the 1/8 mile in 3rd gear then a T-5 is a good choice or a lower rear axle ratio.

going back to mechanical fan, stock clutch type or straight mechanical??

I'd get a clutch fan, at least then the fan is only running when it needs to be and not all the time. When you're rolling down the highway or any road at a good speed you dont need the fan at all so a regular fan would be just robbing you of power.
