Didn't your upper & lower control arms come with bushings? Are they worn out already?

    sc with electric water pump

Even if the belt wasn't seperate, you can get a electric pump with an idler pulley to take the stock pullys place.

Question about my new torque wrench

You should never need a cheater bar, there are gear reduction units that are made for that (4:1, 6:1 etc...) We have some equipment that requires torquing the fasteners to 600lb/ft and then rotating them another 1/3 of a turn. Do that on your back with one hand. :D

    pulley problem

It should be O.K. to shim it, as long as its not excessive.

I think my water temp guage is off...going to 270*!

I don't think he was trying to be rude, since it wasn't that long of a post, I think he was just saying to get an accurate reading before trying to diagnose the problem.

    engine cuts out randomly

I would look at the coil or the Holley ignition box. Try by-passing the box and see if that fixes it. I tried a Holley Annihilator box once and didn't have any luck with it at all.

Can I supercharge with NO dyno tune??

This is just my opinion so take it for what its worth. With the 30# injectors and low boost you don't need the FMU. I run 10#s of boost with 30's and don't run the FMU. They are a poor substitute for a decent tune. Run your fuel pressure a little higher to start and read your plugs to get it...

    auto lock flame thrower kit

It is actually quite hard on an engine. The raw fuel washes down the cylinder walls and causes premature wear to the rings and cylinders.

    Starter question

Take off all your battery cables and clean the connections before you spend the money on a starter. It sounds as though you have a couple of bad ones.

    Can you swap a 81 302 carb from a 90 2.3 EFI?

You don't have to switch to 5 lug by any means, and I know a couple of guys who just left the 4 cyl suspension in place ( one guy runs a built 408 that runs low 10's, w/8.8 rear). Lots have people have done the conversion though. Somebody who's actually done one will reply soon, I'm sure.

How Hard is it to tune a Carbed 5.0?

You can tune more with a carb without needing to burn chips etc..that makes it worth it to some people right there. I'm still enjoying the challenge of tuning the F.I. though (still running the factory computer with no chip). If I was to build a race only car it would definitly be carbed, but...

    What size Carb?

I'm not a big fan of the Edelbrocks myself. I would go with either a Holley or A Barry Grant.

    Front Coil Springs

You can remove them, but re-installing them without a spring compressor is another story. And do like ECU said and secure them to the A-arm somehow before popping them out of the perch, there is a lot of stored energy in a coil spring.

    car sits uneven?? WTF?

If they are weightjacker control arms, can't you adjust the ride height? Is the spring perch not adjustable? I've never seen a set so I'm just asking. My Mustang wasn't sitting right with the factory springs so I took the front ones out and cut them so they were the exact same height, after I...

Weird.....I want to drive her off a cliff

Its normal for the radiator to put fluid into the overflow tank when its hot, and then as the car cools it will suck the fluid back in, thats why the stock overflow has "full hot" and "full cold" marks on it. I would say you need a bigger overflow, and make sure the hose that goes into it stops...

    Mechanical gauge questions

For the tranny temp, you will have to take the pan off (I assume its an auto) and have a bung welded in to screw in the sending unit. While you have it off, weld in a drain plug bung as well. mechanical temp gauge will be a capillary tube as well.

    New 86 GT....little things need work...HELP.

You could probably do most of it yourself. -Brakes would take a shop about 2 hours plus parts. -the lights should be a standard h-3 bulb I believe, maybe an h-2. - if niether of the door locks work, it may be a fuse, but if they are siezed up you will have to take the door panels off to see...
