for the front twin piston set up you have to push both pistons in on each caliper at the same time, or you will get into some serious trouble....... i would suggest using a piece of wood to put in between teh pistons and clamp
ooops my bad i was talking to a friend on IM he has a single turbo setup and wants to do a TT just mixed up the reply with conversation......it was a TT with 57's
for a N/A lighty modified motor (i.e, CAI, TB, plenum, just your basics) an 13.0-13.7 will be good now if you have cams head work and other little things then 12.0-13.5 would be a bit more on where it should be
first off is it the generic tune that you have or did you modify it a bit ..... like add more timing.......... you should add about 5% more fuel....
on my tune i have the timing maxed out with the fuel set at 23% more richer on both ends to give me a 13.7 A/F ratio WOT
by 2 freakin HP damn..... hotmustang i have been here seeing your car go form cams to single turbo and now TT.....and i must say your car is one that i admire :nice:
1) oil and oil Filter - most of us use the Motorcraft filter with Mobil 1 Full synthetic oil........ weight is a personal choice as far as 5w-20 or 5w-30
2) Filter well if you still got the stock setup then a drop in K&N will do
3) Maintanance - well spark plugs is a must ...as far as...
ahhhh the good old hot start problem these cars have....well i have done the fuel filter, cleaned the IAC valve went away for a while but now it only does it occasionally .........and yes i do wait for the system to prime everytime
not entirely true i had a X pipe and went to a Prochamber got good gains thru the entire dyno pull specially in the mid to top end where the graph just seprates itself overall i got 14 ft.lbs of TQ and a 9 HP gain
like most have said it depends what your intentions are. If you want that instant TQ then KB..... if you wan the boost coming in later then the Centri will be you choice
