i cant remember the TQ spec for the pinion nut but after its TQ down you get that needle type in./lbs TQ wrench and check the rotational TQ. If you are using the old pinion bearings it is 8-14in./lbs, with new brearings it is 16-25in./lbs.....The reason they may have told you to get a new pinion...
like most have said it will be a drivers race, when i had my 03'GT i raced a few 350Z's and G35's what saves our cars is the TQ given that you dont smoke off the line, because those 350's have good mid-upper power and creep up
i got the female coupling form home depot which is a normal 1/4" coupling, As i recall it only wnet in a few threads but as i screwed in the other fitting with the barb it held everything securely after that i just snugged everything a bit more
the gas ststion by my house 87 is 4.05 89 is 4.13 and 91 is 4.23 but my stang is wrecked so i dont have to worry about gas till i get another one :shrug:
i think what prevented mfurther damage on mine was the fact that the angle she hit me, and the strut tower brace prevented the right side form really caving in but it did help the frame shift to the left :shrug:

So on thursday i was in a accident :(, i was making a left turn in a intersection when a old lady took the red light :nonono: and wiped out my front end :mad:. No one was injured both my passager and i came out ok. The old lady's car only scratches on her crown vic her and her husband are ok...
the only difference in the blocks is that the first half (may or june) of 01' motors they are windsor blocks, after that they are romeo blocks and the water pump pulley is different between the two and other little cosmetic differences. Other than that same 4.6L 2V 260hp motor.
