One less competing for new Stang.....

Spanky, I wish I was really rich, and I could air lift an 05' Mustang from an auto show to your your garage with a big red bow...along with a Ford GT. :D On a more serious note, after reading your posts in this thread, I got all teared up, and I can't remember that happening for years...

    Meguiar's Tech Wax

Bob, after I go to Dent Wizard tomorrow (by the way, how much did your 4 dents cost for repair?), I'm going to prep/wax. My paint is in pretty good condition, but there may be some swirls. Now that I've noticed you've tried NXT, what is your ultimate recommendation? Should I go 9, 7, then...

    05 vert chop

Wow...I didn't think a vert would look good, but that's awesome. I still have this bad feeling that it's not going to look as good from other vantage points (But, I'd buy a coupe anyway).

    Removing Dents Problem---Tried Ding King

Sigh...I knew my 99' GT wouldn't stay perfect/dent-free forever, but I've managed to keep it virtually flawless/dent-free by parking away from cars up until last weekend. I check the car over all the time, and I didn't notice anything until my mom took my Stang for the weekend. :mad...

$3-$4 a Gallon for Premium Gas + 18 mpg Mustang

Mustang Sallad, I'm with you on all the discriminating comments; and I imagine Ron Jeremy does not portray the feelings of most Mustang owners toward the issue. I'm assuming he's older and was just brought up in a very sheltered environment. Ron, you have probably locked onto your beliefs...

Weird Random Noise Problem on 99 GT

First off...thanks to everyone for contributing to these forums. I've found someone can almost always relate and help with issues here (I'll always try to return the favor if I can). For the last few months, my car has been making this very strange moaning noise that comes and goes. The...

$3-$4 a Gallon for Premium Gas + 18 mpg Mustang

Ron, I can understand what you're trying to say, but you need to be careful. You seem to be inferring that all Arabs are bad people when it's only a select few. How would you feel if you were an Arabic American reading your post?

$3-$4 a Gallon for Premium Gas + 18 mpg Mustang

The math was conveniently provided for you in one of my earlier posts within this thread. And it's a very valid post, because how many people say "Those Grand Ams are going to be flooding the dealers if gas prices approach $3-4 per gallon?" Again, if people can't afford to drive a Mustang GT...

$3-$4 a Gallon for Premium Gas + 18 mpg Mustang

Why is there suddenly this surge of comments like "If gas goes to $3-4 per gallon, no one will be able to afford to drive a GT?" Come on...you can fork over $25k+ on a Mustang, but can't afford fuel? You can dish out money for unnecessary modifications, but can't afford fuel? A comment...

    Nu-Finish or Meguiar's 9/7/26

Yes, those are the pics that had me hooked awhile back, and why I started this thread to get more info. on that combo before I invest a day of my time. Car looks stunning by the way; probably wouldn't look as impressive on silver, but still. How often do you do that combo, and if you do it...

    Nu-Finish or Meguiar's 9/7/26

Like I said, I used Nu-Finish polish about 3 months ago, and I wash it with nothing but water. The dirt just falls off, and yes, towels slide like they're on wheels. The beading does have significance. When it rains, I've noticed the water on other cars without treatment tend to puddle up...

    Nu-Finish or Meguiar's 9/7/26

Hello. Without any knowledge of wax or this site, I bought into the Nu-Finish commercial and got some a year ago. It was very easy and quick to apply, and I have no complaints. The last time I applied was 3-4 months ago, the water still beads off, dirt washes away with water, and it looks...

$3-$4 a Gallon for Premium Gas + 18 mpg Mustang

What if the new Mustang GT gets 20/28 mpg? That would be on par with most cars out there, and well above the fuel economy of SUV's (Hummer anyone?). To be honest, I don't find our current V8's too bad (18/24mpg)...the only reason why the gas seems to drain quickly is because I've never been...

$3-$4 a Gallon for Premium Gas + 18 mpg Mustang

Has the 2005 Mustang fuel economy even been rated yet?

05 Mustang GT in my dealership today...

Keep the new information coming; it was refreshing. The styling continues to grow on me, but it's crying for scoops or stripes. Agreed that it's a little plain...I hope it gets the dual hood scoops in the future like the concept had. This is still my fav. pic to date...

    2006 Dodge Carger

I've never seen that commercial on TV, but that's actually pretty funny. ...Unlike all those Hemi commercials that get on my nerves. Yeah, let's stick a Hemi in everything to make Dodge look cool. They've had opposite effects on me. If I ever see "The all new Dodge Neon...now HEMI-POWERED!"...

    2006 Dodge Carger

Agreed that the new Durango is :barf: . It looks like a pig or something. I bet Ford/Chevy were celebrating when that design was released...rack up some more sales for Explorer/Trailblazer.

    E-Brake light flashes.

Your brake fluid might be low, or brake pads worn. Regardless, have the brakes inspected somewhere; most places do it free.

    starting to get bored

Yeah, new information has been slow coming lately. But, I'm really looking forward to road tests and reviews of the car. I hope it gets really great reviews, though I'm worried it'll get torn apart with unrealistic expectations.
