    x2c Control arms....

I have their non-adjustable lowers. I was really impressed with the quality. MIne have an Energy suspension urethane bushing.

    Stalling when hot.

My car did the same for a little while, when it was hot in open loop it would run too rich. If your intake air temps are over ~120 degrees the computer will richen the car up, when that would happen to me the car would hunt for an idle and die. Check your fuel pressure to make sure that's OK.

    A/C, Power Steering and idle

Hey Grady, thanks for the reply. My car has perfect driveability at 900rpm idle set, I was just seeing what I could do at 700rpm :) I have a real cheapo battery in the car right now, wonder if I should redo inj offsets?

    A/C, Power Steering and idle

I've talked to a few tuners and Ford people about this. I've been told that on a few vehicles, when the A/C is engaged or the power steering is activated the IAC will open to keep the idle constant for the slight increase in engine load. I haven't found any way to change this on my Tweecer...

    Note about tuning and gas

Just wanted to tell you all about my experience over the last year. Last summer my car started smoking really bad. Ripped the engine apart and found out that 3 YEARS AGO when I did my H/C/I I put the passenger side head gasket on backwards. I can't believe it took that long for the coolant...

Unequal length shorty headers for a 408 ...

Awesome, thanks for posting that. Now...what mid-pip?

Fox TB guys...let me see your vacume tree's

I can post a pic when I get home tonight (still at work). We might have a different configuration since you have a different intake. I just went out and bought a bunch of vacuum line and t connectors and tried to make the simplest, shortest connection that I could. Are you still running...

Unequal length shorty headers for a 408 ...

Yeah, my BBK LT's rub the tranny cross-member, that's how tight they are. An exhaust shop can cut and weld that pretty cheap, thats my next mod for my 302 since my 408 swap is put on hold.

Unequal length shorty headers for a 408 ...

Wow, I haven't heard of people sending them back. I got your PM, but I already have my Exhaust setup. Thanks for asking though.

Unequal length shorty headers for a 408 ...

Didn't Kooks ask you what k-member you were running before you ordered them?

Unequal length shorty headers for a 408 ...

Here's what I have seen. The Bassani LT's hang ridiculously low, I've seen them on 3 different cars. My Kooks LT's seem to line up perfectly. There is a reduction in ground clearance, but thats because the collectors and primaries are really big. This was on another car not mine. Every...

Unequal length shorty headers for a 408 ...

Yep, For Racing made them. Weren't they the originals on the 95 Cobra R? I've never seen Kook's shorty headers. I'm sure they can make them for you but they might be pretty expensive. Too bad we can't get mid-length headers for our cars.

A little info on intake temps for ya

Grady, I got my ProM 80 MAF in the fenderwell with a 8" filter and AFM power pipe, real tight fit but its nice. I'm seeing the same intake temps. When I had a 12" air filter in the engine bay with a shield, I would see 135 degrees idling! That was so hot that the computer started running...

94-95 Tall Valve Covers w/EFI Setup

You can see a pic of my setup in "My Garage" link. I'm running a Fox AFM power pipe.

Let's discuss widebands and datalogging options

I have one, its worked fine as far as I can tell. I had a slight problem that caused the wire to lay up against the header and melted it within 10 seconds. PLX has been a pain to deal with in getting the right replacement wire. The new wire they gave me comes with a hard outer plastic coating...

NA timing values, what are yours?

I have all 36 degrees in by 2500rpm as well. I've been away from the Mustang world for awhile, but I think I remember Trick Flow TW heads really like alot of timing due to the combustion chamber configuration. I can run 10% ethanol gas (only in emergencies) and I don't have any ping at all.

    Bucking under load when warm

One thing to check.... ACT versus ECT, our stock EEC will richen the mixture up when the ACT gets above 120. I had driveability issues in the heat that were fixed by changing this value in my Tweecer.

    PLX devices VERY DIFFICULT!

Ever since my wideband O2 sensor wire burned out, they have been very difficult to deal with, even though I WAS PAYING them for a new wire! They sent me a new wire, but its not even close to conecting to my wideband display even though their tech man said it would work. Just thought I would...

94-95 Tall Valve Covers w/EFI Setup

I got it to work with my FMS tall valve covers. Had to use a 1" spacer with 4 gaskets to clear the covers. I have a Cervinis 3.5" cowl hood. Couldn't get it to fit on the stock hood.

    Holley Intake Dyno Comparison

I'm hoping to dyno my car soon once I get it running (it's been sitting for almost a year!) I like the Systemax alot better. Definitely lost low end power, but if you're geared right and no how to shift its no big deal. It sure screams at the top end though.
