Just wanted to tell you all about my experience over the last year.

Last summer my car started smoking really bad. Ripped the engine apart and found out that 3 YEARS AGO when I did my H/C/I I put the passenger side head gasket on backwards. I can't believe it took that long for the coolant passage on the back of the block to blow it out.

Then it was winter and my car sat, spring and summer came but I was busy bike racing so my car still sat. Then my first son was born, making me feel proud and old. I quickly tried to regain my youth by tackling my car.

My Mustang was just running like crap no matter how I tuned it. Surprisingly it ran good without the tweecer, just the stock EEC. But it didn't have any power and would backfire occassionally.

Finally my Dad came to the rescue (Senior Ford tech), my gas was over a year old!!!

I syphoned out the gas, put in new gas, started over with a whole new tune and the car runs amazing! Idles like a kitten at 800rpm.

So, if you have your car sit for the winter, or extended period of time remember to use fresh gas.

Oh yeah, another thing, I couldn't get the syphon into the tank. But, when I loaded a A9L tune and turned key on engine off, the fuel pump ran the whole time, so I unplugged a fuel line and collected the gas in a can.

Now my cars getting painted and I'm ready to be back in the stang world!
