apparently ford is having a run of bad clutches. this came in last week. SVT (or whoever is dealing with these now) called and flat out said "replace it"
i wont post a pic of the car so the owner wont be identifiable.
if you insist.....
my first time racing was with my old 2.5 manual S10. runner up in street brackets. mid .5s all night with a .501 and .506
:D
now...i dont give a damn. i just go for fun.
granted i had been hanging around the track with my uncle and his rail for 3 years prior and using...
i dont know about stangs but crown vic 4.6s have knock sensors.
premium wont provide more economy unless youre driving a car that requires it. a v6 mustang isnt 1 of those cars.
terminators dont have knock sensors due to the blower noise.
12.6 in the vr4. 14.6 in the lincoln.
pics can be found here. shouldnt have to log in.. page 2 for pics

well i made it down. got a few passes in.
my hood decided it didnt want to be on my car any longer so it departed at about 1000'
ended up getting a 12.6@113 letting off when the hood came up.
im taking the vr4 down tonight if i can get my hands on a helmet.
ran last night....they gotta lay VHT out about 50 feet further. the lincoln shifted into 2nd just past the VHT and wouldnt stop spinning till i let off.
when i first went with my vr4 they asked me what i thought it would run. i flat out said ill need a helmet. ive been told they are pretty quick to catch on when you run too fast.
KDWs are a street tire.
sounds like fun. i was tossing around the idea of staying for the drags but went to the san juans instead after seeing next month is 2 nights every weekend.
