    94 5.0 with SERIOUS vibration...

    Could very well be the balancer, although the way you said it got worse when you hit a bump leads me to think torn motor mounts. See picture for my expierence with a bad balancer that seperated at high speed!

    I sourced an engine through Best Buy Auto parts in Regina, They can find you pretty much anything you need, but expect to pay top dollar for an newer motor like that. You can read about my expierence with them in my build post, the link is in my Sig

    In the past i never noticed really, because i thought they all had them, and really it doesnt bother me much, because its the only way ive ever seen my car. If i ever paint the car, they will probably come off though

    The cars had a maaco jobber spray somewhere along its life span(multiple times), so its defiantly not doable without some paint stripping im sure they help, but both sides of my car look like a set of stutter bumps, its seen some hard time in the mall parking lot by previous owners

    Oil weight idea

    Ive used stuff called "STP" in the past in an old Jeep i had with a noisy lifter. Its basically a really thick oil addative(sp?) that you dump into your regular oil, worth a shot?:shrug: I got it at Canadian tire:canada:

    Ive been spending alot of time surfing stangnet recently, which includes looking at other members sexy stangs. But ive noticed one thing that bothers me some, it seems im the only one with bump strips on the doors. Was this a factory option or are these aftermarket? Im fine with how they look...

    4.30's too much gear???

    I half daily drive my stang with 3.73s, going to switch to 3.55s, first gear is just way to short for my liking from a dead stop, i cant shift it fast enough

    The new wheels and tires came today

    looks sweet, agreeing with the spacer comments, thats what i did, H&R 1inch spacers on the rear, i HATED how the front wheels where wider than the rear, 1inch brought them out flush with the fender lip, and so they are even with the front rims. A must for every sn95 in my books, stock rims or not.

    Im not a vert' guy, so i dont know what tops are worth, but that does sound like a hell of a steal! Nice lookin garage too, i wish to own one like that someday
